In 1994, five members of the Royal Brussels British Football Club (RBBFC) got together for a one-off musical performance at the club's annual dinner that year. Take This was born.

10 years later, the band was joined by lead vocalist Henk, who fronted Take This until 2023. Tragically, Henk passed away in 2025. A chronology of his most recent outings with the band is on the Gigs page.

Thanks to the skill and enthusiasm of valued audience members over the years, you will find a photographic record of some of the band's performances on the Photos page.

Take This did not perform live between June 2018 and April 2022. During that time, band members collaborated online to put together a number of music videos, which you can see on the Videos page.

Henk's passing means that Take This has lost its voice. We are considering our next step. In the meantime, we were happy to play a Tribute Concert for Henk in December 2025.
